John Davies Framing – Decorated Flemish Cassetta

This frame style dates from the 16th Century where it could be found gracing the likes of Breughel. It flatters early paintings, modern styles, and would make a distinctive mirror.

Manufactured in painted oak with lines of 23 carat gold leaf and hand painted decorative patterns, the frame can be made to any colour and distressed to your preference. We have found that a highly distressed and aged finish is very popular on this model. We can even produce a realistic woodworm effect to really give a sense of age and heritage.

The frame can be made to any size, subject to a minimum profile width of 7.5cm. The example shown measures 40 x 50 x 11.5cm
