Creative Accents – Luxury Hotel Rugs / Bespoke Hotel Rugs

Creative Accents is one of a small number of companies that hand-tuft luxury hotel rugs in the USA, almost entirely from US-sourced materials. Started in 1967 by artist and salesman, Ken Hensler, Creative Accents has been hand crafting custom and bespoke area rugs in California for over 55 years. Today, the company is run by the third generation of Ken’s family. For over a half a century, we have followed the same principles on which we were founded: Excellence – that everything worth doing is worth doing excellently; Beauty – that the spaces in which we live, work and play carry inherent beauty that should be brought to life through design; Family – that what we do matters but not as much as who we do it for and that we share it with those we love; and long-term Sustainability, which includes limiting our footprint and profiting from our labor for the benefit of our employees, community and future generations.

The Creative Accents design portfolio is extensive and offers hundreds of original designs, each of which can be quickly and easily customized to be any color, size, shape or dimension. This allows a designer to create unique rugs that perfectly suit their project with minimal time and effort. Rugs can be customized on the Creative Accents website or with the support of its in-house design team.

Creative Accents also works with designers to create one-of-a-kind bespoke hotel rugs based on fabric, art, wall coverings, classic themes or a designer’s boundless imagination. “If you can imagine it, we can create it”.

Each rug is hand-crafted by experienced artisans from the highest quality wool or nylon (including “indosheen” a nylon fiber that imitates the look and feel of silk). In keeping with our founder’s artistic tradition, each design is hand traced and rugs are hand-tufted and hand finished, revealing the “brush strokes” of true hand-created art and ensuring that no two rugs will ever be identical.

We ship throughout North America, serving the hospitality, residential and commercial fields on projects large and small.
