Abstracta – Acoustic solutions

Scala sound absorbing panels are available as wall panels, ceiling rafts with and without lights, floor, desk and hanging screens.

Designed by Anya Sebton, Scala is a perfect yet simple interplay between material and form, making the product ideal for use on large surfaces.

The form is inspired by corrugated sheet metal. Being based on sinus curves the shape creates a natural air gaps behind the product that, in turn, delivers a product with better sound absorption characteristics.

Product Details

Core material is made from a recycled polyester (PET) and textile mix supplied in white, light or dark grey, Or Hemp.

Scala can also be upholstered in multiple fabric options.

Wall mounted – Available in two sizes (1207 x 1600 & 1207 x 2300h) horizontal or vertical and supplied with hidden wall brackets.

Ceiling Raft – One size (1207 x 1600) and available with or wihout light. Supplied with 3m wire fixing kit. LED light is 1600mm long and housed in either white or black stained Ash casing. 3000 Kelvin, 1840 lumen. A dimmer kit is available as an optional extra. Can be ordered with or without DALI control.

Floor screen – Available in three sizes (603w x 1650h, 905w x 1650h & 1207 x 1650h).

Desk screen – Available in five sizes (758w, 1207w, 1358w, 1509w & 1810w x 605h).Screen is suspended off the back of the desk using “C” clamps.

Mobile desk screen – Available in three sizes (603w, 754w & 1207w x 509h).

Suspended ceiling hung screen – Available in two sizes (1207w x 1600h or 400h). Supplied with wire fixing kits.

All screens are pholstered on both sides when supplied with fabric. Framework is finished in textured black powder coating.
