In Conversation With Brandon Walker… Business Development At Weaver Manufacturing

How does Weaver Manufacturing tailor outdoor furniture solutions to meet the unique demands of hotel and resort environments?

We always start with the guest experience. Before we ever talk about materials, finishes, or pricing, we think about how the furniture is going to be used and how it should make a guest feel. We always start with the guest experience. Before we ever talk about materials, finishes, or pricing, we think about how the furniture is going to be used and how it should make a guest feel. Is this a poolside lounger where someone wants to completely relax for hours? An outdoor dining chair that needs to be comfortable through a meal but still easy to move & maintain? Furniture on a windy oceanfront deck or balcony that must look great while standing up to constant exposure? From there, we work backward. We tailer the scale, ergonomics, materials, weight, durability, and maintenance requirements around the way the guests interact with the space and how hotel teams operate it day to day. Every decision is intentional, because great outdoor furniture shouldn’t just look great on day one, it should quietly improve the guest experience every single day it’s in service.

What materials and construction methods do you prioritise to ensure long term performance and weather resistance in high usage hospitality settings?

We prioritise marine grade aluminum or stainless steel based on the setting, paired with corrosion-resistant, UV-stable powder coating systems. For upholstery, we use commercial outdoor textiles designed for fade resistance and easy cleaning. Structurally, we focus on reinforced joinery, stress-tested welds, and repair-friendly fastening so parts can be replaced without scrapping the whole piece.

How do you support hoteliers with customisation options when they have specific design visions or brand requirements for outdoor spaces?

Customisation is a collaborative process. We align early with design and operations teams to match the brand vision while keeping performance, safety, and budget in check. That can include custom finishes, colours, materials, and signature details. When needed, we build prototypes or samples to validate comfort, durability, and appearance before moving into production, whether we’re adapting a proven platform or creating something fully bespoke.

What trends are you seeing in outdoor hospitality furniture and how is Weaver Manufacturing evolving its product range to meet those trends?

Outdoor areas are increasingly treated like primary guest and revenue spaces, so expectations are rising for indoor-level comfort with true exterior durability. We’re also seeing more modular layouts, sustainability-driven lifecycle design (repairable vs. replaceable), and integrated features like power, lighting, and shade. We’re evolving by expanding adaptable product platforms, increasing engineering led customisation, and investing in material and finish systems designed for high use hospitality environments
